The average duration for the Doctoral Degree Programme in Education is four years. During this period, the student receives regular individual guidance from his/her supervisor and is required to attend faculty seminars and conferences, pass the qualification examination, present thesis proposal and submit an interim report. Then he/she will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy after completing the programme of study and defending his/her thesis successfully. PhD students are encouraged to publish high quality SSCI/ACHI indexed articles by the time of their graduation.

The programme of study is individually based, to be arranged jointly by the supervisor and the student and approved by the FED Graduate School Committee.
